Yellow Door // Match Me Sensory Tile - Leaves

Bring nature learning into children’s everyday play with Match Me: Sensory Leaf Tiles. This beautiful set of wooden leaf tiles is designed for hands-on exploration, helping children discover and talk about the natural world through touch, matching, and creative mark-making. With 12 wooden tiles forming 6 different leaf pairings, children can compare shapes and textures while learning to recognise a variety of tree species commonly found in outdoor environments.

These tiles are perfect for nature-based play experiences, supporting early science learning through observation, investigation, and sensory discovery. Children can use them for classic matching games, or extend play by creating leaf imprints in playdough and clay, or making rubbings with crayons and pencils to highlight the engraved details. Whether used indoors in a loose parts space or outside during a nature walk, these tiles offer open-ended learning that connects children to the world around them in a meaningful, playful way.

The set includes 6 leaf pairings: oak, birch, aspen, maple, sweet chestnut and beech. The compact size makes them easy for toddlers to hold, turn, and explore, and they are an ideal addition to early childhood STEM and sustainability-focused learning environments.
