Mader Kreiselmanufaktur was founded in 1991 by Klaus Mader. Klaus is a skilled carpenter with a particular love for handmade wooden toys. His workshop is located in Austria in the foothills of the Alps and produces traditional spinning tops, skipping ropes, wobbly toys, kaleidoscopes, and yoyos. Many are made entirely by hand, sometimes requiring up to 20 different processes before they are complete. The quality and finesse of each toy is immediately apparent.
